Sun, 5 July 2009 The lucky 13th Geek Girls Rule! podcast, and it's lived up to its rep. It took me three tries to upload the damn thing. In this podcast I talk about Race Fail 09 with Mikki Kendall, and the publishing company that she and Jamie Nesbitt Golden founded, Verb Noire. If you want more information on Race Fail '09, please go to FanHistory.com Just to warn you, there are times when it gets awful quiet. Now I'm going to just give up on sleep for the next three weeks. We just got a new kitten who will, I'm sure, figure heavily in the next podcast. And just to repeat, the glitch in the Verb Noire Store is fixed, so you can buy their first ebook, River's Daughter by Tasha Campbell. Now I'm going to take a shower, and extricate the kitten from where ever she's got herself stuck. Comments[2] |
Interesting discussion. That "hand in the blender" strip is one of the best ever (even if it is actually Stuper Heroes, not S*P. Pretty much anything by Randy is golden, though.) In the "synchronicity" category, I was actually in Hyde Park while listening to this 'cast, and when you mentioned that Mikki lives there, I looked up suddenly as if I expected her to be walking right past me or something. *insert eerie music here*.
You should give a read to Tales of MU (google it, I'm too lazy to find the link) if you aren't already familiar with it. It's... um... well, I'll just let you decide for yourself.
Alrighty, I'm done.
Take care ^_^
